Post by: Jon The Bassist on January 04, 2011, 01:18 PM
Not committing to anything but is anyone up for a wobble at the Preston club race this Sunday, either OS or NS?

:'( :'(  I'm gonna cry off - I've had a stinking cold for the last couple of days and the lad isn't bothered with the fairly long drive to Preston and back from Harrogate.
I'm going to take him to Yeadon late morning and do a couple of laps myself if I'm up to it.

Sounds good  :daumenhoch:  Yeadon was covered in ice and I bust my innertube after less than half a lap.  :2gunsfiring_v1:  I'm knackered anyway so wouldn't have done much...

What a great day. Very relaxed, well organised and a friendly atmosphere.

I raced in the Old Farts class, a mix of 40+ Cruiser and Old Skool (all riding new school bikes ).

Sorry I couldn't stand and chat, had to keep my eye on Fergie, he raced in the 7 & under novice class, bit quick for him, but he's only just turned six. Well done son :daumenhoch:

Bren :)
