Title: stuck 3 piece crank

can anbody help,just had a call from my brother in law-he's managed to put a fsa smack daddy 3 pc crank on my nephews bike +he has put the arms on the wrong side  :2funny:
(left on right etc) and now cant get them off
never see these before so dont know what to do,any help guys before the kids bike is fooked

did they come with a tool? if so take the centre bolt out of it remove the spindle bolt and screw it in.

then get a rubber mallet and hammer the end of the bolt which will push the spindle through the bb and the arm will come off the side you are hammering.

then screw in the opposite end of the spindle and do the same again.


if no tool screw the bolt out about half way and if long enough hammer the bolt same as above.

This will help identify the tool but as Mark says, same as Profile but a slightly different tool , it has an allen key end so deffo use a rubber mallet as a hammer will fook the allen key bit up

cheers guys -yeah think it came with one similar-but has a bolt end instead,with a metal collar  instead of a alan key  head
does he screw this all the way in?

yeah take the collar off and screw all the way in to protect threads as it will have max surface contact
