Title: The one that got away!
Post by: Munnyella on January 21, 2011, 11:03 AM: Luckily, this was at the powder coaters when the others went last week.

The last few bits arrived this morning, so built it and got it in the sun for a photo. I am really chuffed with the result.

It cost me Â£36 complete on ebay before christmas, a 2007 ish x24, they are only a cheapy bike, but full chromo. The flights are a bit of an indulgence, but I felt I deserved a treat!!

If you pull the bars back a smidge, to be in line with the forks, the front end wont feel as heavy and it will ride better to :daumenhoch:

I think this is the best looking bike i've done (so far!), even the Mrs likes it, and she doesn't like bikes!!!

Good job that union jack seat got stolen... or did they unscrew it and leave it behind when they robbed your bike.
