I think they are a great looking frame set.  The Guy in a bike shop by me has a full Bike all wrapped up No 69 but he is going to keep it for prosperity I think.  He offered it to bobefett for £800 but then a few weeks later a complete bike on the bay sold for about £350 :daumenhoch:  I wreckon the frame and forks on there own will fetch up to about £150 but we will see :daumenhoch:

weird thing is I never liked bikes with gussets like that back in the day
to my 12yr-old eyes they looked old-fashioned and I imagined all sorts of crap getting stuck in between

but have to say that looking with fresh eyes at some of the builds on here they do look good

are they a faithful repro or have they had geometry changed etc?

Dean Moanjam did one of these with old school bits as a rider and it was well cool :smitten:

But what do I know, I only have a 1978 Team Mongoose and a 1979 Supergoose..........

if you need a bike strong enough to warrant a full cromo frame youre riding the wrong bike with this goose anyway,

like john said ,,,, get a proper 80's one for the price that will probaly go for

like the re-release of the skyway ta ,,,i could never see the point in paying more for the repop than a proper 80's one
