Title: New Projects/ new pictures ans Supergoose added now !!!!
Post by: Moza on January 22, 2011, 07:56 PM
Ive been to pick up two frames and a pile of parts today, the first frame is pictured as I couldnt wait to see it on here lmao. The other is a Supergoose 2, my plans are to rechrome the goose and build it back up. The Ripper im not sure of yet as I was to see some old Se adverts to check out the colours etc. I need some proper landys for it but ive decided to restore both bikes up using old parts and restore them. No NOS if I can help it but I will refurbish old parts inc having them re anodised etc :idiot2:

Nice score man. Do like a Ripper 8)
Don't know too much about them though. What year is it?
I guess it wouldn't take too much to clean it up and keep it OG

Polish the frame, new forks, My mate ran Bottema forks on his ripper back in the 80's, nice and unusual, but I dare say harder to find than LG's!

I quite like the green decals, if you are going to be re anno'ing stuff, you could go the green route, not everyones favourite I know...

I do love a project!

dont paint it unless the frame is rough, i'd get it lightly polished with black decals... ;)

Hi mate I got the Ripper the same time as the goose from the same guy, they were hung up in his garage above his MK2 Mexico. I thought these bikes like old Fords so they can come and live with my RS lol. Im building both at the same time but its been easier to get stuff for the Ripper. Im still looking for the right forks for the goose. I did want to polish the Ripper up but there are a few deep scratches which would need to have a little welding to fill. I might end up going down this route yet we will see, that blue Ripper is very nice I wasnt sure to go blue or white.
