Nice that Greg, you gonna race it?
-
I hope you'll be riding that bicycle :daumenhoch:

very nice, whats up with the top tube S&M decal, very interesting, custom?
-
Nice looking Holmes. They might be my fav Holmes decals.
It looks like a mk3 Holmes, which came with or without brake mounts. Did that one have them removed or did it never have them? Do you have a frame number of it?
(the under side of the dropout looks a bit square? Right at the back?).
whats up with the top tube S&M decal, very interesting, custom?
I was wondering the same thing. It looks like a nice sticker.
-
dropouts have had bit repaire.the frame number not looked to be honest .
sticker yeah custom (was left over from del so i just fitted it on .not perfect by anymeans but its nice touch for sure .ive got asnother holmes on the way 11/8 gen 2 .i am seriously thinking of total custom decals on it watch this space .the decal magician has spoke to me about them it will be mint
-
Yeah like it. Good unusual mix of parts, not down with that seatpost tho, bit star trek!!
The custom sticker looks mint

Hey Motomag are you the guy that was on the Brackens at Berm in Sept?
Sweet Holmes brother, I love bikes that aren't built with an open cheque book (although we've all done it). Non of us had any money back in the day but it never stopped us then and it doesn't stop us now.
Try Dan at Bmxcity for a post. He found me a brand new in the packet Primo Rod in chrome for £7. Looks just right on my Holmes.
Anyways keep the Faith.L

yeah man i ride a brackens usually.i just got rod from darren wood last night so were sorted post wise .looks and rides spot on cant wait to race it thursday night
-
just put me normal racve stem on short reach dk .mr normalrace bars fly race mike day .swapped front tyre for better one .rides better it weighs a ton though reckon its over 30lbx but heavier isnt always worse for sure .
-
Don't worry matey, Holmes' ride super stable on the track even with the weight they ride and jump like their on rails.
years ago in the Mid 90's while i was still ridin cruiser (FreeAgent Pro limo 24) I bumped into an old mate of mine Who was ridin' a Holmes. I was fascinated by this bike because it was a 20" that actually fitted a grown adult (unlike me 88 Master).
Fast Forward to 2009 GingerHolmes sold me my Chrome Holmes and I have not ridden my cruiser since.
