Title: Chrome Rims
Post by: Jamroll on January 29, 2011, 12:21 PM
I have a set of Chrome Araya 7x Rims lased with Chrome Spokes and Polished Hubs  :smitten:
Now they will be going on a Carpet Queen but may be tempted to take out to london for the annual gathering if weather permits  ::)

Is there anything i can do to protect the rims from blistering / wearing through the chromefrom brake rub?

Cheers Al.

A coaster hub would work but you've had the wheels built now.   ::)  You could always fit a cheap pair of wheels to the bike for the day or risk scarring the rims which is pretty inevitable really...
