Use an angle grinder and take your time. Grind two of the side ( opposite) until they get thin then back to a spanner and it should snap. Just gind slowly once you are through the worst of the metal you could swap to a course file so as no to damage the forks. :daumenhoch:

Try hitting it with a hammer to shock the corrosion into breaking
-
put a wheel into the forks and stand with the wheel between your knees, use a large pair of adjustables (not a swan neck) or a pair of Stilsons and undo it :daumenhoch:

there's no substitute for big amount of leverage................... :crazy2:

Heat aswell get a blow torch on it :daumenhoch:
-
you could try a nut splitter, available from decent motor factors :daumenhoch:
-
just smash it up man...ffs

thanks for all the advice lads. in the end wheel on, heat on gently tighten, well tighten even more. than eventually got it off :daumenhoch: so some TW Airlines T maid had used some kind of lock tight /metal glue or something :uglystupid2: anyway its off now and threads on the forks are ok
