The good thing about being at the back is that you get to salvage all the parts that fall off these 'flimsy' old school rides :D

sorry chaps, but there might not be a derby race next week. the council have covered the track in 3" of stone and the bikes are sinking into it and sliding out, and they've said i cant sweep it off!!! were trying to get some thing sorted out, but if not were hoping to move the race to rotherham track. keep you posted.

Your joking Alan, the old man wont be happy, he loves racing at Derby. Rotherhams a fair trek for us Premiers aswell, its a shame, what are the Council playing at anyway?
Glov, that race face is the reason they are cancelling Derby, they dont want to mentally scar the kids of Alveston. lol

i know, i couldn't believe it. i'd spent so much time and effort getting the track sorted for the last race, and i was pleased with the results. only for the council to ruin it all because they thoght it would be better. now their saying i cant sweep it off, and they cant get hold of the contcrator till wedensday to rectify the situation. so were trying to arrange an alternative venue just in case the worst happens. i'll keep you posted, but one way or another we hope to have a race in place.

Yeah nice one Alan, hope you can get track sorted mate (they dont seem to be the most helpful Council) always a pleasure to ride at Derby. Either way we will see you on Sunday.
