I picked up my Haro OS racebike off the bay for £50  (needed new cranks and wheels to be rideable)
My dad got a NS GT cruiser complete off the bay for £108 this weekend - I've checked it over and NOTHING needs replacing. Should cost about 10p in grease to get it running sweet.

That used Fit is a good buy for 100 squids...  :daumenhoch:

Forget secondhand offerings from the once legendary brands from bitd... they're all crap and probably weigh more than my car...  ::)

Is that the royal 'we' LOL.

So you don't get alot for £150.00 either then. Fooking repro burners are shite.

Much better second hand bargains to be had.

I hear that. Before discovering rad, bought a Diamond Back Venom in 2004, thinking you know Diamond Back great name, great bikes bitd, how wrong was I, not so much a car or a tank, more like a battleship ffs!!

Ed, is it gonna be used for proper riding or just  wobbling around on could affect choice.

Well... thanks to all for the feedback.

If it were for my daughter I would go for one of the deals I've been offered... but it ain't.

Trying to convince a clueless Mum that a £125 second hand good condition PROPER bike is better than a £80 Piece of Halfords shite is HARD.

I'm still trying  >:D
