Well i must say this has been a very nice bike to build for me even though its still not at its finished stage
I thought i would compile a new thread of start to finish (Well Almost Finished) :LolLolLolLol:
I did the decals today and after reading a few threads on how this should be tackled and attempting it a couple of times over the last couple of days and chickening out :-\
i finally took the plunge and thought Just Do it :daumenhoch: and low and behold im really pleased with how they came out :daumenhoch:
I have to say it wasnt the quickest of jobs probably in the region of 2 hours of lining them up and looking at tons of pics from all different sites to see the angles and hight and location of each one
till i was happy with where i put them
anyways i still have the wheels to change and the tyres plus add the chain and brake blocks so this is really a to the decal stage job as of this minute
hope you like it I know i do and the decals really bring it too life :daumenhoch:

the teckh 2's will be moved once the gold ones turn up :daumenhoch:

I love it apart from the tyres :-\
-
If you have some spare time, removing the gold ano/brake rub to create a shineside rim would be worth doing. Looks good though. :daumenhoch:
-
Once I change the wheels thats exactly what I will be doing polishing up the side :daumenhoch:
Don't know it I should use White wall or gum wall Tyres
And yep the decals really bring it to life
Thanks for all the feedback :daumenhoch:

-
hey you.
them wilko specials won me a bike of the year ;D
-
Joe , I love the updates dude ;)
You're doing a nice job n'all :daumenhoch:
All the points worth mentioning have been mentioned
moving down the levers
shiney side the rims
A set of amberwalled tyres
and voila on pukka Kuwi
I'm so glad you stuck withthe one piece , it's just right
and the layback is cool too , cos it's a 'laserpost' :4_17_5:
It's funny laybacks aren't everyones cup 'o tea when building nowadays(better suited to freestyle builds) , but they were a must have on every bike back then .
Yours looks great IMHO
First dib dobs on the frameset when you split ;),, :LolLolLolLol:
