Title: MONGOOSe sniper need help and advice puhlease

i know this is a repeat but im desperate :angel:


hi guys, just inherited a mongoose sniper,
i think its a year 2000
its not bad condition,

im a raliegh burner guy, but i enjoy doing skateparks with my brother on his GT bump,
i thought the mongoose might allow me to join in

questions..
was this ever a good bike?
will i get looked at funny riding it?
what equipment needs upgraqded straight away,

it looks like it has a 1 piece crank and E brakes
it also has a gyro fitted

let me know, it was effectivly free! dont want to waste my old skool restos practicing at the park so if something can be done with this that'd be great!

i had a mongoose like that recently

it was wildly overbuilt with massive tubes

seemed to ride ok though. a little weighty perhaps, but ok geometry

mine was painted in some kooky bronze colour though. nasty.

i ended up sawing through the frame to nick the brake lugs
