....anyone recommend a decent BMX Helmet?
Have been looking at the PRO-TEC range, but what other brands are good? Just looking for a 'p!ss-pot' type, not full face..

I bought a Pro Tec one, I wanted a TSG but everywhere seems to be waiting for new stock. Paul (Snav) had a nice TSG one for sale in the forsale section the other day.

I've got a fat/funny shaped head :uglystupid2: the only one I could get to fit was the 661 wee wee pots

Pro-Tec.
I use my snowboard lid. nice, good fit, but don't measure your head, go try one on, even my massive fat melon only needs a Medium protec.
The TSG ones are quite popular, think they are cheaper and look good too.
-
King Kong lids are pretty good but look a bit big when on, good fit for fat heads though!
-
I got a cheap Kobe brand one for general riding/ramps etc (not on the track).
I've no idea if it's a rubbish make or not but it fits well and stays in place and seems reasonably well made.

Mine is a Bell one, fits my big ole head a treat, nice and light, stays where it should, cost about £30, loads of colours too!!
-
Bell for me but I keep looking at 661 for a full face for when I get extreme :LolLolLolLol:

i have a fat head also, so need to get down to the local skate shop to try some on, they do the PROTEC and other brands...
Protec do a pretty cool one with built in headphones !! >:D

I use a 661 Dirt lid, Cheap at about £20.
My head look massives massive in it - although it looks massive without a helmet!

Chain Reaction have got 63% off some of their 661 helmets!
not as stylish as the TSG or ProTec's though...............
