cheers guys....Alex, it's an old DK one i had from about 2005 funny enough.

Peter, the gearing is 28/10 i think, but i'm not sure i have that much clearence on the chain with the brake, so i may go up to a 30 to see if it makes any difference??

(I have now added a parts breakdown)  :daumenhoch:

 :daumenhoch:

I am trying to sort the Gyro out but the forks are a bit small to run a spacer under the upper Gyro plate, so with the standard Oddy upper the cables are too long and you can't get enough cable tension.  I have a few things coming my way that hopefully will cure that.

1. a Tech77 lever with a dual cable config
2. a 2-1 cable splitter used on the UFO gyro thing which looks just like the Primo pervert thing.

So out of those two i hope to put the Gyro back on  :daumenhoch:

Really nice that for the money rob.
I rode a Diablo for a whort while back in 04/05 on a brief flit away from S&M. Ive always loved Fly stuff. Once it's built, you dont really mind the frame being a tad heavier than current day frames eh? Bet it rides great.

you're so right Steve, it weighs more than my Proper but rides nicer......i think being that little bit shorter makes all the difference

I've sussed the Gyro as well  :daumenhoch:

Glad You've sorted it, did You go the cable splitter route in the end?

Well I just changed the colony lever for a tech77 and a bit of tinkering later it works.......still room for improvement though so I'll tinker some more.

nice work Pickle, looks good.

if you bore of it can I have first dib dobs on the forks please?  :daumenhoch:

it's not all about weight is it? I had a fly 3 amigos which felt silly light at the time and also had a Colony, which weighed a little more, but felt much nicer to ride, so I kept (much to Trev's astonishment) the Colony and flogged the Fly.

you'll have first refusal Joe  :daumenhoch:

picked up a Tech77 with double cable attachment yesterday so i'm going to try that with two cables instead of the oddy splitter one.
