OK, so there I was Christmas last year just having a browse at the BMX listings on eBay (as you do) when something caught my eye.
The bike was described as a unknown BMX and had a couple of poorly taken photo's. But..........as soon as I saw the serial number I knew it was an MT of some description.
After receiving a couple more photo's of the dropouts etc I was 100% confident I knew what it was.
Anyway...........she's a 1984 MT Racing "The Fox" (Model TA). Back in 84 these frameset's were available with two different types of rear dropouts and two different styles of forks.

This particular one (Hi-Tensile Steel) was pretty much bottom of the range. They did do a very nice full chromo version as well though :daumenhoch:

another lovely build Nath, will be asking you for some advice on finding MT-type bits once I find out what Dave Hutchman's got waiting for me in his shed (right now not sure what it is but I'm pretty sure it's something 'foxy' :) )

that bike looks stunning - was that the original chrome
these bikes look beautiful in the sun with the chrome and black & white 8)
we now need to see a group shot - so start getting them ready for the sun when it comes ;)

OK...............I've been asked if I have had this re-chromed by a couple of guys now, and the answer is NO. Just a good old OA bath followed by a polish with Autosol 8)

Forgot to mention, I had the cranks re-chromed and the spider had a new coat of black powder courtesy of SBD :daumenhoch:
