Title: Shine em if yer find them !

Right can't afford new/nos DC tech III's with the price's they are at the mo - so i'm having to restore my old sets

find a old tech 3

de-anno it with a bit of oven pride

smooth out the rough edges and bits with a polishing mop/bench grinder
polish off with peek for a sweet smooth finish

the blue peter shot - before - mid - after all in one

I used to spend hours at work with the polishing wheel, polishing anything that needed it. Its a great way to pass the day, especially when you get good results like yours!!

Sweet - where do you get the new hardware - the clamp bolts and the little screw/spring thingamajig?

i'm looking on hardware shops for cheaper bolts and nuts - you can get them on ebay but for a cost  ::)

A good nut and bolt hardware store should be able to do them  :daumenhoch:
