Title: Skyway TA frame and forks serial number

I have just googled the serial no   (  0007446 skyway) to see if i could find out anything about the history of the dodgy f&f that i have ended up with and one comes up on ebay with the same number.does that mean its the same bike or are the serial numbers not unique to each frame? confused can anyone shed some light on it thanks

probably the same frame,the one on ebay looked a bit rough,but i couldnt see any dents from the pics :-\
does the serial no look like its been tampered with ???

I baught a TA F&F off a guy on here when it arrived i stripped the paint off so it could be chromed.That is when i found the damage so i contacted the seller and he said that it  he had no idea it had been filled and that he got it of his uncles freind but when i searched on google for the serial number the one on ebay comes up but it has no damage in the pics. I  then looked at other items this guy was selling in the past  on rad and some white grubby skyways are on there  that look very similar to the ones on the ebay pics so if that is the case then he must have got that bike with no damage and not painted white  i might be barking up the wrong tree but it looks dodgy

just read your other thread mate. still looks good send it off to get repaired still a nice bike but know how you feel
