ok chaps just looked on bmx museum at gt serial numbers and checked mine santa ana rear dropout with model abreviation nearby had another look and theres a 4 stamped below next to bottom chain tube so im reading sept 84 santa ana ,or am i missing something :-\
-
Ive got a 1986 and it looks a bit older than that,i`d go with a 1987 for sure
-
They start the slanted cut through top tube from 84 onwards ::)
We need to see pics of the rear drops are they drilled with 3 or 4 holes as most 84's are usually just flat plain with a GT logo embossed on them :) but did change late that year
It could have been painted and re stickered up a few years on by an owner BITD
Betty on here re stickered his Gen1 as a Master a couple of years later after buying it
and the downtube decal was to big it overwrapped and the writing was too far round and the "Haro freestyler "logo was going underneath :LolLolLolLol:
MINT :daumenhoch:

Hi folks, well if it is an 87 i dont get the serial number, :-\ thanks for your help :daumenhoch:

It must be chrome underneath ,,right ,,or is it just bare steel (cro-moly )
because the thread going the other day , would suggest this to be a chrome Pro if stamped 4 at the rear drops ???
Unless things changed after the Nora bikes and the slant cut top tube was introduced ???

paint ,slant rear top tube stamped gt with 4130 below, late 84 or what im convinced it is ,trawled every frame in museum ,come on you gt experts please help, or its going in the bin >:D

hi folks, before the rad meltdown yesterday :tickedoff: :LolLolLolLol: i was in the middle of explaining the fact that yesterday had a few hours to burn ,so i decided to strip frame+forks of its decals and hardware ready to send for paint then as im fetling chipped away some loose powder around forks when this happend
(http://www.radbmx.co.uk/archive/albums/ac337/dfg125eagle/002-1.jpg) fookin nora i didnt expect that ,so what do i do now full strip and rechrome or powder which will cover gt stamps again oh bugger dilema ,then i gets couple of replys one of which was of spen69 saying rick get that frame stuck in bucket of notromors and see how bad it is,right then of to local hardware for a tin ,so £6 lighter and 8 hours later and a very noisy belly i now have this
