Hi all,
Quick question. For my factory spec Kuwie Laser Lite build, what rims should I go for? Jamies Kuwahara site states Araya 7X OR Ukai were used. I love both sets and they would both look great. Black Ukai's would break up the chrome a bit but Chrome 7X's... :smitten:
What are your thoughts? :)
Thanks

My laserlite came stock with Chrome 7x rims on Black low flange Suntour sealed hubs.

Cheers! :)
Its a mega tough call! I'm drooling over both sets at the mo

In all the years I have admired the Laserlite other than in magazine pics I have never seen one with Speedlines.
Only on the Survivor model which was a down graded Laserlite with one piece cranks.

Yeah, Looking at the two sets (constantly ::)) Think I may well go with the 7X!
Thanks ;)

Well if budgets not an option go for Chrome 7x ,, alternatively if you would like black wheels to break it up ,, just fit Black 7X for about half the price ::)
Used to drool over the Laserlite adverts , very cool bike :smitten:

Budget was an issue before i started this build but that has long since come, gone and been forgotton about! :idiot2:
Decided on the Chrome 7X....Got a set on the way but will need some atlernative hubs (Black Suntour Sealed bearing) to make them spot on :)
Thanks all. :)

I take it you bought Bodamus's ;)
Biagio has Black Sealed Suntour if you want to pay his ridiculous prices. £120 for a set. :idiot2:

::) Havn't quite given up on the budget that much yet!
Yep, bought Bodamus's yesterday after your post about the Ukais. It was a choice of them and some speedlines i'd seen elsewhere. Ians 7X's are the Best set i've seen in a long while :smitten:
