Dont know if this was his first on wood or what, but he put a lid on specially.

I pretty sure I was there that day!
It wasn't his first on wood. But it was the first time he'd done one for a long time.
He did learn them the hard way. On wood!
He learned them, before I'd met him, at the old park in Wakefield. Over a box with a couple of old mattresses thrown in as he was in the air. OUCH.
