Sure i have heard that people have used welding rod in the past  :-\

Someone will confirm im sure  ;)

Thanks im sure welding rods are a bit thin. Im gonna have a look at some mesh at work  :daumenhoch:

Stick welding (MMA) electrodes start at 1.6mm and the next up are 3.25mm then 4mm.

I can say some confidence I don't have a full two pedals worth....   I'll dig them out later and have a count up anyway   :)
