Title: Retro ripper daily rider

But thought I'd throw up what I've been using for work over the last Year or so ;)
I've just modded the frame to take mx1000's just need to get some matching levers :)

The bike looks really nice though...

Would it be possible to remove a link from the chain and slide the wheel forward to get better allignment?

Post by: dwain dibbly on March 30, 2011, 09:32 PM: Yeah they do line up ok. I had to make an angled washer to the them to sit right. As you say I need to shorten the chain and bring the wheel in but f*kin typical I've just broke my chain splitter ::) so I will sort it at the weekend ;)

Post by: Dark Diggler on March 30, 2011, 09:54 PM: Or get a really nice V brake.... John, it is a retro ripper so why not have a nice V-brake that works, like a Pauls components or a top end Shimano and besides, that repop caliper brake with those exposed v-bake lugs.....oh dear

Yeah I know v brakes would work better but I just like the OS look :) and it's only used to wobble to and from work ;)
