Title: insurance for BMX collection

    Can anybody help with advice on insurance for a bmx collection , been in touch with our currant insurers , they asked the normal questions blar blar blar then they asked how many bmx bikes have you got , 20 was my reply the phone went quiet  :LolLolLolLol: they then asked for a break down and value  :LolLolLolLol: they then sh-t them selves , don't think we can help , then 4 days later had all paper work through for the renewal as it was due anyway , and guess what  :LolLolLolLol: in fookin big red letters NO COVER FOR CYCLES  :knuppel2: w--kers  happy to take the cash but don't want the risk , anyway any advice would be greatful guys ,

     :LolLolLolLol: Yeah plus i got this Curtis off this cowboy who didn't tighten fook all up even the wheels fell off when i picked it up  :2funny: :2funny:

     Thanks Glen it does look well but i daren't move it incase anything else falls off  :LolLolLolLol:

All my bikes are on my home insurance fella..... im with swinton and i insured them for an average of about £1000 each if I remember rightly  ???

Yorkshire building society for me each bike to a value of £1500 no maximum number either which is a bonus :daumenhoch:

the key is

are they complete bikes to ride  or

bike parts with value

latter the better, tell them that

I just rang up my insurers (castle cover) and told them I had four bmx's that are kept in the house, with a fifth one for riding. I told them they were collectables and they were happy to insure them at a grand each.
