Title: Is this 'skidlid' any good?

hi folks,

just dusted this off, purchased in 2004 I think  :-\  Never used it - Is it alright, 'safe enough' or should I invest in another  ???

i would think it'll be fine, i've been using the same protec helmet for the last 15-20 years and it's still going strong even after a few knocks.
