Just trying to get the last bit of alloy out of the hutch seat post..wondered if there's a nack for doing it as it won't shift.. Thought I was all over it... :'(

Swill with clean water then reapply with boiling water and caustic  ;) the hotter the better it will melt it 2 bits  :daumenhoch: did one 4 Dordy and it had a real thick old renthal snapped off in it and 4 days was gone  ;) Just keep tipping out the solution and renewing it thats the trick and red hot  :daumenhoch:

Cheers mate..been ading coustic to cold water and then pouring it in..it's been working,as most of it has gone. There is however some left behind that just won't shift. Will give it a go tomorrow. Thanks mate :daumenhoch:
