Title: Some Old Sketch Books
Post by: monkian on April 26, 2011, 12:49 PM: Went back to the folks over the weekend and found a few of my old sketch books.
Talk about a trip down memory lane. Gave me a chuckle so thought I'd put them up.

I grew up near the Williams F1 factory so we always a looked out for them.
I drew that car profile and table top pic so many times I could do it from memory ::)
I also used to get MAD magazine as a kid...the Gaddafi drawing seemed appropriate.

Thanks J, I think the first 3 might be Bob's drawings I copied from BMX mags.
The sketch books are about A3 ;)

I was only 11 FFS. Man, your kids must get a really tough time ;D ;)
I think Kuwara might be missing one or two letters as well. How my dyslexia wasn't picked up until my late 20's is beyond me ::)

I remember getting one of those OS italic fountain pens with ink cartridges around this time...
so all the writing on the first 3 pics was done with it in my best handwriting and trying to be really cool ;D
