Title: THIS IS IT....THIS IS IT...Recession buster
Post by: LENNY-LENTINI on April 28, 2011, 10:05 PM
Yes Yes Y'all

The other night I was building a new rider when a proper good idea popped into my brain.

I was fitting some Race XLT's to said rider when I noticed that the raw finish wasn't  in keeping with the Mid Skool look.

So I went for a dirty big crap and whilst on the throne of knowledge it hit me (an Idea not a tod). Recession bustin Chrome Plate (or cheap Tin Foil as it was formerly known).

Check below for the results. I think you'll agree this is fine craftmanship.

I think they would look better on the yellow (taped) frame..

Lenny, your ingenuity never fails to stun me, I fear for your liver mate!!!

Drinking straws make nice covers for rusty spokes, and makes them stronger too, as they become 12g!!!, far more mid school!!

see you soon!!

Haha Brothers

It seems that you have taken my great new invention on board.

mark-ice has already covered his beloved 4X4 in Recession Bustin Chrome Plate.

and Ed209 has had a 2 man tin Foil Rave.

It all starts with one great idea.

I'm off to build the tampax Holmes. Keep the faith. L
