Title: 83 ghp done!!
Post by: markyp on April 30, 2011, 02:21 PM: massive thanks to animal for straightening the star bars and filling a ding on the forks :daumenhoch:

ok no story behind this what so ever,just wanted to finish on a high end build as im pretty sure this will be my last.
the frame belonged to dan dare,the forks i sourced from germany in just one week after buying the frame and the bars were on ebay from switzerland all bent up,the rest of the parts are from you guys and a mix of nos,nice used and refurbed parts,huge thanks to sbd for an amazing powder coat,this colour is mental in the flesh,the pics dont do it justice,anyway here she is......................................................

Post by: markyp on April 30, 2011, 03:50 PM: cheers guys,this ones taken an age,i got the frame in august,dandare had it for sale at mk but without the correct forks so i gave myself bit of a headache trying to source a set,to get a set in only a week was a bloody miracle but with it being the same week as id bought sams robbo frameset,bars and seat post it left a huge crater in my pocket,one which i dont wish to repeat.this is defo it for this year,ive got 8 show ponies,more than i could have hoped for when i started 3 years back,i will see how i feel later on but for now for sure im done ,unless anybody parts with a patty :LolLolLolLol::daumenhoch:

no marty they are the dx i was refurbing,i stripped them yesterday,just wish they were a tad shinier but i cant be arsed now and overall the bike has come out lush anyway so i will just go with them now :daumenhoch:
