Alright Fella's, just assembling my Supergoose 3 after a claen up/semi-resto. I've bought a MX hinged seat clamp from porkchop and I get get it nipped up tight enought to stop the seat post from turning a bit.
I'm thinking a shim would be the way to go to get a solid, tight fit, any ideas what size I would need to get??
Cheers Dan.

The use of a coke can is the normal solution Dan. A pair of scissors will cut it up nicely or put a post up for an Elina seat post shim. :daumenhoch:

Cheers Brett, i'll try the coke can, that's all it will need to be fair.

you have most likely sent a man to his own death  any one knows that if you cut into a coke can, it will have it's revenge and cut him back - he will lay bleeding on the floor for hours and not be able to cry out for help   why not tell him to run with scissors ::) and kill him qiuckly !

Don't despair B, i'm gonna get the Mrs to do it.

cant beat shimming up a pole , works like charm been at it for years , moved on from coke cans now though being a bit older , trouble is, and i've said this before , you have to try 10 or 12 tins before getting the right one , thing is after that your realy not bothered if your seat spins round, as is not going as fast as the walls :LolLolLolLol:
