Took these a couple of weeks before the King of the Skteparks finals. Getting some practice in on the skinny wheels.

was this in 85 or 86? theres a shot of Eddie in this article I posted that looks the same era... but I posted it as 86 ( I can't find the mag now to see if its right )

Darren I reckon the board looks like a generic Variflex , so I hope he had steel section grab rails for a bit of stength :-\

It was deffo '85. That article was 'published' in early '86. Mike Chilvers (ex factory Pro Star rider) wrote the article. We did the month long trip together - KOS Final,Vans factory,BMX Plus offices & Azusa BMX track to name a few. It was a "trip of a lifetime" for sure :)

Tim as in 'Tim Stamp' ... as in 'Hutch Radster Tim Stamp' who was with Mike Chilvers when he wrote the article ::)
