when i polish items, i like to keep it's original feel of the part - i try not to over polish an item - there may be some small marks or not as deep as polish as it could be, but it will shine !
A part should look clean and worked on, but not to the point of where it has lost it's original magic of the part - remember it has been through a lot and will sometimes show this - i like this in an item and it means more to me - if you want it show queen new, get it re-chromed - if not, put love into it and bring it back to life 8)
cheers B ;)
