GREG HILL! I loved his training pieces in the BMX mags - I also really identified with his hard work and dedication, I think he did a lot with his ability and beat many pros by his attitude. I was a terrible BMX racer when I started but worked my way up to regular National A finals by the time I finished first time.
I also had mucho respect for Tim March, he lived fairly near me at the time and sold me one of his March team cruiser F&Fs (which was a re-stickered Redline PL24), and a guy at my school (Ant Howells) raced for his team. I came to admire Stompin Stu mainly after the event as I was a bit too young at the time. Then Geth became a hero after blowing away the Yanks in the Kelloggs :4_17_5: :Great_Britain:

Never was a fan of the stars as such but if i had to answer the question then my favourite racer back in the day was a guy called Nigel Murphy. He rode for Bournemouth BMX and also the Hot Wheels team during the kelloggs championships. I doubt you'd of heard of him unless you were a SC racer or rode the UKBMX/NBMXA nationals. :4_17_5:

He does he's just a bit shy sometimes.

Am I allowed to answer "me"? :uglystupid2:
If not, it would be Neil "Coley" Cole from Walsall (Orangechipville) BITD, anyone who rode with us (Animal named a list of us on another Thread), and the originator himself, Mr. Haro. :daumenhoch:
Oh, and the Old Fools Spen and I watched - with our jaws on the floor, and eyes on stalks - at the Skate Park in the middle of Baghdad, Sheffield, a few Saturdays ago! Fooking awesome old timers that we can all learn a thing or seventy from! :smitten:

Mat Hoffman the guy is a legend.
