Even though I have been gathering bits for my DP, I have still only been riding my MTB and Road Bike.....
Anyway I recently bought a 2005 GT Jamie Bestwick off a guy at work as I fancied a roll about on a 20"....
So tonight I took it for a spin....
What I want to know is....Was it really this difficult BITD...? I can't hop, wheelie or anything....I know the bike is a bit weighty, but I didn't think I'd be this crap....
Oh and and bloody hell I'm absolutely knackered!
>:(

Radness never leaves you mate.....so you must have been shite BITD.
Only messin' :D practice and patience....start with the easy stuff like skidz :buck2:
-
Or a 360... :LolLolLolLol:

Get yourself to the next, nearest members meet, you will find that most of us aren't as good as we like to think we were, but it was discussed today at corby, that we are all on the upward curve and improving every time we ride ( a bit!)
It is much harder than it used to be, for me, fear is a major part of it, and Pain!
Stick with it, bet you were still smiling though eh?

x2
Take your time and start from the beginning again. :daumenhoch:

Cheers dudes....Yes I was smiling (in between the frustration!)....I will keep at it provided I stay in one piece! ;D

You will find the DP is half the weight of the GT and you will be banging that around instead. My haro is fookin' heavy and I can just manage a 180 spin and use the back wheel to get it 360 but my DP I can slam around the full 360 :daumenhoch:
You need to get used to lifting this weight again and as we are a lot heavier than we used to be makes all the harder :LolLolLolLol:
Practice and Patience as have been mentioned :daumenhoch: Oh.....and don't be scared of getting hurt and ALWAYS wear a helmet :coolsmiley:
-
Yes, you probably couldn't see me in the crowd!!!

Start nice and slowly and i'm sure you'll get there in the end , you'll master the falling off really easy with out any trouble :LolLolLolLol: remember to wear a helmet :)
