as skyways have 10mm axles would it be ok to just put them in and tighten up or use a 10-14 axle convertor? trouble is i've only seen threaded versions which do not fit the skyway thread-anyone done this already? what did you do?

i have a full set of front and rear axle converters (threaded) specifically for skyways 36/24 tpi
i had them on my haro zippo after using washers but they kept slipping in the drop outs so i bought the converters
