Looks like a Japan theme bike except I wanted to built it up with American stuff.
Cook's crank, Tuf, Z's...
Thanks glynnyboy for letting me buy that red redline V back :daumenhoch:
Still looking for a polished tuf or pro neck to replace the black one

-
cool rider dude 8),better than my show bikes :(
-
Thanks dudes!
Hey Joe what color frame you have? Choosing the frame color is the hardest.
And Stevo I totally understand you wanting to build a kuwi with jap parts,
but...
think about it.
Have you ever seen a pro or some amateur die hard bmx freak riding a factory spec bike?
No.
This is what I think is the cool thing about building a bike,
you can start with your favorite frame and add all your favorite trick parts...
To make it that race machine you've probably wanted, thinking your some pro racer 8)
Thats what I thought when I came across stuff like this on researching KZ-1's:
This guy bike was having all his favorite parts on his bike.
So why shouldn't I?
Much more exciting then factory specs, no?
:daumenhoch:

Mines White n gold at the mo mate but they may well change to red and gold very soon (if I ever get a chance to get it repainted that is) :LolLolLolLol:
And yep factory specs are very nice indeed but like when we were all smaller kids it was about customising to your own requirements
And tastes :daumenhoch:
-
Great build, :coolsmiley:
When we were kids we often aspired to have not necessarily the best but the 'in' parts, usually these were the parts recommended by the magazines who were no doubt influenced by the manufacturers and distributors, here we are 25-30 years later and as big kids we're still nearly as bad as we hunt down the 'in' parts which are not necessarily the best but the most pleasing to the eye or just the rarest.
Bit of individuality does no harm at all :daumenhoch:

Very nice Yannick 8) which Tuf Neck do you currently have on yours? I may be interested in a trade for my Pro Neck if it's a Pat Pending or unstamped :daumenhoch: LMK
-
Looks great that, whatever happened to the Sewell's they were fast!
-
Love that Yannick - nice build mate - love the fact that it's a rider 8)
How about a full parts run down ;)
:daumenhoch:
-
I had the same idea for Yannicks yellow one that sold on BW, sad yes but I think they make a nice bike, second post on this really like this, good work from a top guy :daumenhoch:
-
Awesome. Thanks guys!
One day I'll do another yellow black build. That's for sure.
