Title: Firebird Freestyler owners question
Post by: WINI on May 21, 2011, 08:35 AM
Before I decalled up my frameset, I trawelled the museum, Steves dp site and other sites to make sure I got the placement etc correct.  Question is, what orientation should the fork decals be?  Some builds seem to have the red 'F' at the top of the forks and some at the bottom.  It looks a little wrong to me to always have the red F at the bottom but if you go by Steve's bike, thats correct?

Any help guys.....thanks

I think Steve put them on that way because thats how DP had them in the magazine adverts...

In my opinion its backwards, wrong, immoral and evil!  >:D

Cheers Guys, I have mine the same way as Steve has his.  It doesn't look 'right' to me but I'll keep em this way if the ads showed this

I spoke to Steve once about this and he said it all depended on how the girls in the factory in Flint applying the decals felt on that particular day.

Or how many Pernod and blacks (or whatever they drank in the mid-80's) they had had the night before.
