Hi, ive brought a bmx to restore but i don't know what it is ! Can anyone tell me what it is please ??

pass but take a pict of the rear dropouts with out the staders should help a bit

Is a dp a good bike ?
I paid £10 for this bike which included a pair of skyway tuff 2 wheels in good condition

Ive started to buy the parts i need to fix her up, so far i have brought a new crank wheel and some brand new superstar foam grips.

I thought it was DP Firebird at first glance... I dug an old magazine out and indeed it is a DP Firebird...i am sure :) I am not sure on the forks though, they may be tange trx... Wolfybmx has Firebird forks for sale on this site...PM him and ask him for a picture... or you may find them in the For Sale section ;)

if you want some proper firebird forks i know of a NOS set....

excellent, at least i know its worth restoring then. the forks on it are ok for now but i will think about buying the correct ones for it in the future.

just started building up myself a summer ride too, based around an old set of red tuff II's
i've had the back of the shed since i was a teen :-[
then all i have to do is finish the camper inorder to take it anywhere :laugh:

I was pretty impressed with the brake system
