I can't help feeling that there's a big element of hypocrisy on that site :LolLolLolLol:
Still, you can't fault the idea, I just hope no-one buys a set of regular black tuffs with those on thinking they are getting real graphite Tuff's :LolLolLolLol:

hub caps. bet they'd look good on the new coloured ones.
i'm not adverse to hub caps, i have some nice ones i got from halfords on me corsa.
-
Those caps won't fit any other wheel apart from New graphites. The designer and and his brother were riding buddies of mine BITD. Ed ferri and Bart from Skyway have seen and approved of them also. I can see someone trying to flog these as old campys. In a crappy pic on ebay it would be hard to tell. They are quite noticably different in real life, obviously. Wait for the rest of the re-pops to come out. Theres a few going around at the moment.
-
They do look good, but they will never be as good as the real thing :10_2_12:

Wise words mate. Be espescially careful of if you're buying Skyway pro bars :daumenhoch:

yes.

1. i think they look cheesy. in a cheap knockoff kind of way.
2. Skyway has approved them for use with their graphite wheels, so the comparison to Shimano endcaps is apples
& oranges.
3. to add more apples & oranges, Shimano endcaps were copies of original equipment. these "hubcaps" were never used bitd. they're a brand new item to dress up your brand new wheels. apples & oranges.
-
They`re still making something thats new look like something thats old, thats a repop in my view whether its sanctioned by Skyway or not :10_2_12:
-
mmmm.... apples . not keen on oranges.

yes they sure do.
-
think 'll leave mine as they are, gluing sh*t to them just ain't right !! And scratching off the decals with a nailfile, to make them look like campys???.......what are they on over the other side of the pond !?!? :Great_Britain:
-
It's comforting to know that our Yank cousins are keeping a watchfull eye on us at all times. :LolLolLolLol:
-
they may be new but they are copying the stlye of the campy hub
so hence they are copies
-
so who is importing the wheel sets at 200 bucks a time into the uk?
why dont they stick on the dirt stars at the factory?

those hub caps do look a bit like oranges but i'd say my end caps were more like grapes.. plus they weren't exact copies cos i scratched my name and the date into the back of them on the patterns before they were molded. ;)
those hub caps looked like alot of grief to me... i did look at the whole thread but not thouroughly, did anyone catch how much he was charging?
-
They look absolutely shite.
-
yes but
-£108 jib plus postage and tax, jfjojrj graphjite skyways seems aljrighjt
-is anjy one jimporting them?
-and do thjey come withj cassette hubs, or are they flip flop -in order to get a 13/14 toothed sprocket on them - ie I'd like a set as race wheels - on a new skooler
-
