What do you use to polish then!
Guessing a bench mop with soft wheel and soap and some kind of chrome polish to finish?

very nice.....does matt ever build his bikes or does he just pump the tyresup  :2funny: you a lazy foooooooker matt  :2funny:  :-*

Cheeky little shit  :D ;D

I do most restoration stuff but no polishing, well nothing like this and B has kept the molding marks too it seems which is good, just needed them tidied up for my '86.

Look lovely B, if you can get them out today that'll be tops then I can build the bike over the weekend  ;) :daumenhoch:

Do look nice, keep checking this thread B  :D they were a bit grubby so look much more show bike bling now but not over the top and should match the chrome on the 86 nicely  ;)

mate is the new baby keeping you up  ;D  last part for build - not last build  ;D  we know you just can't stop  :2funny:

I like to polish to the point it's not over polished and to reshaped - you can still see some marks on the item to tell you there is history there - if you want it perfect then grind it down and get it chromed  ;D

I use a mop and wheels - but it's just from learning what the metal is doing and the temperatures dose to metals and how the out come will be - not always easy to get right but looks good when it works

cheers B  ;)

couple of peeps have pm'd me asking if i can do a bit of work like in this thread with Matts calipers - at the mo i'm not in the best place to do much polishing - the gear is at my mums place for the moment and i haven't got a new shed up and running at the new place yet  - i need to change a couple of the mops and also have a couple (six sets really ) of mags to resto up for peeps first

I would like to get some thing sorted on the polishing side, but it will have to wait till i get a few things sorted first - sorry but cheers

will try and let peeps know when and if i start up a service  ;)

cheers B  ;)
