Title: Suntour stem with angled head??
Post by: The Burner King on June 19, 2011, 01:16 PM
Can anyone give me any info on this Suntour stem? I have just split a bike up to sell parts from and this stem was used about 6 years ago.

Never took any notice before but now i've stripped the bike i've noticed it has an angled head? Does this mean its a different suntour stem to a power stem or a different version of it? Its stamped Cromoly Japan on the chrome shaft.

Cheers J

Maybe Suntour saw the design flaws in the MK1 Burner geometry and made a stem to compensate  ???

Can't say i've ever looked at a burner for more than a few seconds before so couldn't be sure  ;D

Early version of the MS1100 Power Stem, think they were out late 70's very early 80's  :daumenhoch:
