I want to fit a Shimano U brake to a bike but i dug mine out last night and im missing one of the spring fittings. I have two special caps that locate on the spring tops, Ive also got the CAM-side steel cap and the booster arm. But Im missing the non cam-side steel cap. Its just a stepped washer really. Does anyone have one they dont need, or even one that I could borrow and use as a guide to make a new one??

I'll have a butchers in me box of bits, but I wouldn't hold your breath - have moved house 4 times since the last one of them I used so likelihood is it'll have been chucked - fingers crossed though :)

That'd be great, thanks. I almost lost the 3 spring bits that i do have just now after forgetting they were sat on the bike when i turned it upside down. :crazy2:

Oh YES! That's the one. I only need one of the steel tops that the bolt goes thro. Seems a shame to split your one. Can you take some pics and measure it so I can make one?
