I know this is normally a powder job but a guy near me said he will paint some forks for me and if I like it I might then go down the full proper job route so does anybody know a paint code for this or a paint code for a very near match?
-
Most bikes back then were painted
And most Candy colours were high gloss metallics
So you should get a good likeness with paint.
SBD does paint as well as powder :daumenhoch:

Spot on cheers, I thought that the candy colours were always powder so that's good to know.
Hopefully I will get a good match for this now then 8)

If it helps at all here is my old SE Mauler with the original SE Blue paint, dated about 1982 / 84
It was metallic Blue not candy blue

there is no code you fat twat ??? GT probs chose a colour and added a bit here and a bit there to get to
the colour they wanted, the only way you'll ever get the real colour is to colour match from an original frame
set, :)
