Make griff buy it for his collection, he'll love it more than life itself at that price

cheeky cnut - just saw this

I only pretended to love the elina to wind up the haters on here (always fun) but am really not a fan of the chequered stuff

Actually was wondering if I could use my elina to raise some funds for charity, rather than try and flog it
As far as I know raffles aren't allowed on here, but was thinking if I could get a few peeps to donate to charity I could put their names in a hat and then at MK one lucky 'winner' could then chop it up/set fire to it/put it on their BOTY show build. What do you reckon?

"I only pretended to love the elina"  :2funny:

love it when people realise what a knob they have been and try and say it was a joke all along  ;D

once again ed practices the ignoble art of deflection, trying to distract us from his snakepost-loving past  :-* anyway if I didn't have the elina I'd still be a knob  ;D

quite happy to admit that buying the thing was probably a bit of a n00b error on my part in the first place, but the almost-universal hatred that I found for what is basically just a seat was so OTT I couldn't help drag it out for a bit...
I'm still a very long way from being able to justify spending £100 on a plastic seat though
I'll keep the elina on my superfox for a bit, once it's eventually gone I still have my twin-pinchers and other non-era correct to hack off the purists

maybe I can trade it in for an aeroyal, they seem to be even more popular

Griffle... you keep missing the point that theres a difference between a 'snake' or 'slalom' post and a awful all in one elina combo snake'n'saddle ( IMO )

I have a big soft spot for snakeposts... never said other wise... had one BITD... just brought a fusion one for my Haro

but I agree that I, like you, whatever seat post I have... I'm still a tit  ^"^ ... its just if I have a snakeypost it warns people as I ride towards them  and they can make up their minds before I open my mouth.

 :)

I know, and every time you bite  ;D

justify it how you want - a snake is a snake
