Title: Can I dye a Shot gun II saddle

You cant kill a shotgun with dye that would be scriledge. Try and trade it first for a black. I'm someone on here will help out the cause

Post by: Night Rider on July 07, 2011, 12:16 AM: It's a 1st Generation Shotgun II seat with no stripes dated 5 82. I don't think these were made long at all before they changed to the striped seats. It has no gold left on the sides but the embosing is clear and sharp 'Shot Gun II tm' . It says Ariake, aero, Jaguar 7378, Japan on the bottom. The rails have some seat guts wear. The back of the saddle has a little wear where the bike has been upsidown, I would be willing to polish these out if anyone wanted to swap. I can also re-gold the lettering.

Ideally I want a blue version but would consider a black.
