Its a nice stem, like an inbetween a SR and a suntour
-
It's a sugino, used by diamond back although the diamond back one's were branded.
As far as the desirability goes, well it's a decent quality stem :coolsmiley:

Like a lot of stuff back in the day there would have been 30 or 40 of these stems lying around in halfords unsold (along with shit gold/red/blue maxycross cranks etc) but these days it seems anything 'oldschool'' is desirable by some. Personally, I try to have as much snobbiness on bmx items today as I did then so I woudlnt touch it (or a suntour) with a bargepole when there are tuff/pro necks and loads of other really good quality stems around. But thats just me ;)
Get it, polish the fook out of it and stick it on a low quality british frame that nobody bougth back in the day because they were (frnakly) shit and youll fit in fine here :)

nowt wrong with maxy cross cranks
-
apart from:
1. they look shit
2. flights/profiles are much better (both looking and in operation)
3. they arent very strong
:2funny:
-
good quality stem and as with all the sugino stuff japanese and well made
-
give it a couple of months and we will see all these parts on yer builds :LolLolLolLol: ukoldschool
-
maxi cross cranks look the bollocks, especially on rippers and quads, much better than 1 piece in the looks department.....
-
no they dont - they look shit.
they were found on cheap halfords crap bikes to try and make them look better than they were IMO :police:
-
seems like your a fookin knob that just trying to wind everyone up, if all you was doing was walking around halfords bitd you was walking around the wrong shop and thats why you know fook all! go on another 3 year vacation and come back when you less time!
-
you need to be more meticulous in your spelling old chap
-
