hello
edwardes frames were made i think from used old racer frames
i.e. 531 racer tubes
1.e if my memory serves me, they all had luggs
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lugged_steel_frame_construction
i think they were made in house
never chrome
always painted. - white
they weren'y a mass produced thing i think
-
You will find kai over on bmxtalk :daumenhoch:

did the older llewelyn have one, when the younger was on mongoose
i remeber the frames from the south region, and they deffo had luggs.
also, due to them - if you like being probably made to measure for the rider, they might be rarer that any bmx frame on the planet - thus I doubt you will ever see one.
' p.s. they had luggs, from my bad recollecdtion, - they 'looked' as if a frame maker - probably Bill Grey -'R.I.P' of west hill wandsworth, took a old 531 'lugged' racer frame and cut it about so as to make a 20 inch bmx frame
-did I mention they had luggs
they also ALL used a euro - or racer 'then' bottom braket
the rear stays if you like, appeared to have the rear tubeing of a racer -27'' drop handle bar racer frame.
pps, did I mention they were lugged.
which leads me to beleive they were all one off frames, hense you will never see one.
