Title: My old MRD Expert
Post by: jonpaul11 on July 18, 2011, 05:07 PM
hi

my dad dug this out the shed for me a couple of weekends ago, my MRD Expert back from 85 I think (I'm sure I was 14 when I got this)

I can't believe how well this has kept - no pitting, just a layer of Dust and dirt. It's been kept in a bone dry shed, now in the loft. Dropouts are clean and don't really have a mark on them.

I'm looking forward to cleaning this up and getting it back to the spec when last ridden (Renthal Bars, Araya 7L Rims etc).

:) I would love to just pop around to my folks and do just that but I live in Spain... next visit I'll be getting my Araya 7L re-spoked and packing them in a bike bag along with the MRD to get built up out here.

Can't wait to be honest.
