It is indeed , gonna strip it this week and see whats what , looks to maybe have a reweld , but cant tell yet need toget the paint off , goose welding was never very clever anyway

But be interesting to see if it is a supergoose or not

If it's a Supergoose, it will have 3 holes on the brake bridge  ;)

rich if it has early flat rear drop outs then it will have a T in the cyril - so yours will be a regular goose

if its the later model with stepped and drilled rear drops then it will have the 3 hole bridge

Tange forks are available from Alan's, or if you want Astublua's, they come up fairly often on the bay.

Rich i think the flat ones are correct for your frame

i saw a original prisim set of super goose decals on UK ebay went for £107 the other day :shocked:
think my mate brought some for his puch BITD for £6  :D

buy the goose decals from bill curtin
they are the only ones to get. the knock off prism ones are often very poor quality

get the tange forks too with the pinched dropouts. they will suit it good.

he has motomag decals on the bay , are these the same as 1980 mongoose decals just dont use the motomag one ?

And also that decal has to have the orange bar/stripe at the end
to face a certain direction too, don't ask me which way though as i can't remb
and have yet to buy any decals for mine  (tut tut)

check that VBMX thread its all there some where
exact location of decals on frame etc .....

Kev , how about the goose cats from the early 80s to give me some ideas !

I have got the decals and forks coming ( Yay) the tange ones seemed more UK than the astabulas so went for them

we shall see tonight what the paint hides , and if its going to be a nickel or painted frame lol

theres 3 catalogues there - i will have a look and see if i have any better versions
