I'm sure most of you know who Stompin Stu is, if not get in line :2gunsfiring_v1: . Been a huge fan of his for many a year now and after finally getting his autograph I set the wheels rolling to build a tribute bike. Obviously the choics for me was his Pk Ripper from my poster which as far as I know has never been replicated, could be wrong though. So after endless chats to Stu and OM Scot about the bike and looking long and hard at the few and very poor quality photos she's pretty much all finished. chain and other bits now added. Still hope you likeeee ;D...
The man and the bike...

So what year was the photo taken?
-
Guys I'm totally overwhelmed by the responses :daumenhoch:, I never thought for one sec that this bike would get so many thumbs up. The picture is one of my all time fave os shots and pretty iconic so to have built the bike is the icing on the cake for me.
The picture was taken by OM Scot in either very late 79/ early 80, although he can remember taking the picture he's a little sketchy with the exact date. Scot has told me he will try and find the original photo and send it over so if that happens :smitten: :smitten: .
the question is, should I get "stu" printed on my race jersey prior to it being framed?

too right pal and I can't wait to feel that 70's vibe. If I dress the bikes up in platforms and afro wigs will they stand a better chance of winning :LolLolLolLol:

I've got three 70's Geese but they're not 101% era correct so I'm not entering them in the S&S lads....
There will be a supply of Afro wigs and platform heels on display on the helipad on saturday with Ash's and my bikes and we might even bring some carpet to put them on so the carpet queen collectors feel at home :LolLolLolLol:
Then I'm racing my 1979 Suergoose on sunday  >:D :2funny:
