The parts run down is great and the look is good, but I really do not like the red on it. It just confuses the eye with so many colours next to each other. If those red parts were chrome/silver/polished then it would work.
But that is solely my opinion.

I respect your opinion but... Blue and Chrome (and possibly a splash of gold) has been done to the death on GT's of this age and it's got a bit of the 'same ol same ol' feel about it, albeit nice.
As the red is the second biggest colour on the GT roundal logo it deserves a place in the colour scheme and sets it apart from the 'two-tone' brigade, nice and colourful just like the good old days ;)
Just needs a red lever.

NICE !!! :coolsmiley:
-
likin the blue dont look to far of the original, nice parts but way to many colours for me on it, looks like a raleigh

good point made, way to many bikes seem to be built on here to please others rather than for themselves
-

I agree the red is part of the colourway of GT, but you don't need to use every colour on a decal, just choose a couple. Otherwise it gets really cluttered.

Adam, loving it mate :daumenhoch: Love the way it's different from all the rest, love the way it's like we had our bikes bitd, multicoloured, and loving the parts list too :daumenhoch:
Now, just get that sh*te old Hutch stem off there and get a Suntour or Tuf Neck bro okay :LolLolLolLol:
And know of an ACS 55 Slant if you want one for ya collection :coolsmiley:

loose the fat tyres as it makes the slim racing lines of the GT look bulky :daumenhoch:

Thats exactley what i thought too but i put some Haro MS3 on there to see and it just looked too slim if that makes sense but i definately agree that 1.75 comp 3s would look better or at least a skinny on the rear but i haven't got any at the moment.
I totally see what people are saying about too many colours look a bit much but as Steve said above Blue & Chrome (whilst it looks awesome) has been done so mant times before so i wanted something a bit different and I love the look of this bike.
Cheers
Adam

now I like coloured chains , but the yellow chain doesn't do it for me on that bike .
Everyting else looks sweet tho :daumenhoch:
-
never been a fan of coloured tyres on a racer and the chain does look a bit wrong.
might look cooler with pads on
but thats just me.
your bike build it how you want.
whys somebody else building them for you by the way when its so simple ??.
-
I think I approve :daumenhoch:
-
Fruity, & very non-boring.
Ace :daumenhoch:
-
Deffo go 1.75 on the rear , good to see a bike with a plate , maybe sort some pads ;)
-
That plate really does look good on the bike, deffo sort out some pads.
